Couples Sans Souci means 'couples without worries', and that's just what you'll be, carefree, at this luxurious resort specifically catering for loving couples and reserved for adults only. The resort enjoys an idyllic setting next to the resort town of Ocho Rios on Jamaica's northern coast, some 54 miles north of the capital, Kingston. This all-inclusive resort consists of a series of villas and lodges built in island style, overlooking the sea and surrounded by immaculately kept gardens with lush tropical vegetation and palm trees.

Overlooking the magnificent White Water Bay with its soft, golden sands and scenic cliffs, the resort is the perfect setting for a wedding, a honeymoon or a couple's romantic getaway. You can get married at Sans Souci, on the beach or in the pretty gardens, and the resort will provide a dedicated wedding planner to make sure that every detail of your big day is perfect. A variety of wedding packages are available and you can choose all kinds of extras such as a cocktail party, a private candlelit dinner or even a five-piece steel band. Couples Sans Souci is also a great venue for your honeymoon or to renew your vows with a specially tailored ceremony.

Your Stay

Set in 35 acres of land along the coast, all of the 150 suites at Couples Sans Souci face the ocean and most have private balconies or verandas with sea or garden views. Complimentary amenities include air conditioning and ceiling fans, flatscreen TVs and coffee makers. Complimentary Gilchrist & Soames bath products, bathrobes and iPod/MP3 players are also provided. For an extra taste of luxury, book a Penthouse Ocean Suite where you'll have a large private balcony with stunning views of the Caribbean and an elegantly furnished living room.

What to Do

Excellent leisure facilities at Sans Souci include four swimming pools, three jacuzzis, a fully equipped gym with personal instructors, and tennis courts. Scuba diving and snorkelling are available as are water-skiing, kayaking and windsurfing. You can also join in with yoga, aerobics and Pilates sessions, and Charlie’s Spa offers massages, beauty treatments and complementary therapies.

The Food of Love

Set on a terrace overlooking the ocean, Palazzina serves an international menu while the Bella Vista Beach Grill offers casual dining and features Jamaican dishes. Casanova has a traditional colonial setting and you can expect dishes like smoked marlin stuffed with crab, jerk plantain crusted rack of lamb and coconut and lemongrass crème brûlée.
