Love at First Sight
Cascading down a hillside to a secluded beach, Bacolet Beach Club has a glorious location overlooking the Caribbean on the charming island of Tobago, famous for its golden beaches, beautiful climate and lush tropical forests. The resort is just a few minute's drive from Scarborough, Tobago's only large town, and a fantastic place to hang out with its relaxed bars and restaurants and its busy port. The resort is built in a contemporary style that combines modern touches with traditional colonial architecture and one of its highlights is the infinity pool with spectacular views across the Caribbean.

Your Stay
The hotel's 35 guestrooms are decorated in smart but comfortable style and all come with private verandas with sea views and luxurious four poster beds. In-room facilities include flatscreen TVs, DVD players, iPod docking stations and free wifi. Other amenities include minibars, air conditioning and complimentary toiletries.
What to Do
Spend decadently lazy days lounging by the infinity pool or on the beach where the beachside bar serves light meals and drinks. If you're in more active mood, take the walk to the top of the hill above Scarborough where you'll find Fort King George, built by the British in the late 18th century, now fully restored to its former glory and one of the best viewpoints on the island. Tobago also offers fantastic diving and snorkelling opportunities and a wide selection of water sports like surfing, yachting and kayaking.

Cafe Havana Lounge & Bar, owned by the hotel and just a few steps away from it, is a stylish restaurant surrounded by elegant verandahs. This modern Caribbean eatery serves an international menu with strong influences from the traditional cooking of Tobago. You can expect dishes like Caribbean fish chowder, creamy curried shrimp served with plantains and Havana rum custard tart.
